I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Queens university and a Fine Arts Diploma from St. Lawrence College in Kingston.
I am so grateful to live in the beautiful area of the Thousand Islands. The mighty St. Lawrence River, the rugged landscape, the windswept pines and the ever changing colours of the water and sky offer constant inspiration. I try to capture this in my large paintings in acrylic or oil, as well as in watercolour. My beautiful flower garden presents me with numerous subjects to paint. My large landscapes are distinguished by strong colours and gestural brush marks. In my floral painting I try to capture the essence of the flower rather than giving an exact rendering.
I am a founding member of the successful artist run V.A.G.A Gallery (Visual Artists of Gananoque and Area) in Gananoque for the past twenty six years.
I am also a longtime member of the Thousand Island Fine Art Association (TIFFA)
